Nestle Special Edition Halloween Themed Treats

Nestle Special Edition Halloween Chocolates 2012

Nestle has given a few of their most popular treats a spooky new look. These special edition wrappers are too cute to pass up! I purchased mine from my local 7-Eleven, and I’ve heard that they are available at Shoppers Drug Mart too. Look for a special stand-up display; usually near the entrance of the store.

The chocolates themselves are exactly the same as the originals. If you can’t get your hands on these, try making your own festive wrapper. This craft was featured in Woman’s Day magazine and I saw it on Pinterest too:

My Favourite Place to Buy Produce

Etobicoke, ON

Grocery shopping has never been the same since my mother came across Young’s Produce in Etobicoke. This tiny store carries a variety of fresh produce, including local and organic fare. They also have a lovely floral area with a staff member on hand to assist you. Best of all, almost everything is affordable. I can spend $25 at my local big-bin grocery and take home only a fraction of the food that I would get here.

Walking through this store is such a pick-me-up, especially when it’s dark and grey outside. The owners have created a warm and inviting environment that is always clean, tidy and full of beautiful colours. The staff are equally cheerful and welcoming, which explains why this is such a popular spot on the Kingway.

For me, Young’s has the appeal of a farmer’s market combined with the convenience of a corner store. I can usually find everything I’m looking for, and it’s easy to buy local because they tend to promote Ontario produce over the imported goods.
